I found that I can't get enough from the regular imitation of the VOA special English. It is due to the fact that I am not good enough to follow what exactly they had said. This is ridiculous but it is an embarassing fact. I have to step back even more to seek some easier jobs to do. Finally, I picked up the new concept English, volumn 4. By using the sitman software, I try to read all the texts out by myself, and then hear what I have said. It feels much better now and I can really learn things in this way. What I found even more intriguing is that, I have to lower my voice and slow down to get the native-like accent. I just finished the first three lessons and I found them tricky, which proved my analyzing - I am not good enough. What I am expecting in this phase is to hear the voice in the stereo like a real native tone.; 0
